Sun Palace Hotel, Falaraki, Rhodes - Cadiza

We booked Sun Palace hotel in Falaraki for my brother’s wedding in May/June 2018.

The hotel is exclusive to Tui or First choice if booking in the UK. We paid around £2500 for a 2 week all inclusive package for 2 Adults and 1 child age 7. We flew from Manchester along with half of our wedding party the other half chose flights from Doncaster.

On arrival into Rhodes airport it is quite small and with a couple of flights landing at the same time the luggage collection was quite hectic but then you are straight outside ready to search for your coach, we were going to change a book a taxi transfer but we stuck with the free transfer and happy we did, our hotel was the first stop and it had taken around 30 minutes.

Upon check-in you need to pay the local taxes fee and leave your passports overnight.

We chose a room with a pullout bed for our son and the room was quite small but suited us fine. It had a fridge and a safe in also. One day our shower would only let out cold water, although the sink hot water tap worked fine. I reported at reception this on our way for our dinners and within 90 minutes they had been and replaced the taps and all the shower attachments, and it worked perfect from then on, for the rest of our holiday.

The buffet food, there’s everything to choose from at all 3 meal times and we weren’t disappointed at all. We tasted some beautiful traditional food and all our wedding party enjoyed the food they chose.

The onsite water park was great and enjoyed by all of us, including our parents, who are in their 70’s. The food at the snack bar in the park area was our favourite. The freshly made kebabs and pizzas were gorgeous.

The entertainment team work extremely hard all day and night to keep you all happy, some of the evening entertainment was amazing and hilarious and a couple of nights it wasn’t but that’s just our taste, we are not a karaoke family and wouldn’t like to ruin everyone else’s holiday by trying to be!

All in all, the rooms were clean, there’s so much to do both day and night. Having the on-site water park is like having two holidays in one. Food was to our taste and had enough choice to keep us happy, location is good with plenty of restaurants and bars. The main tourist beach is between 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel and most of our wedding party were so happy, they’ve booked to return for another all inclusive holiday next year.

Fantastic Hotel
We went here in May 2018 for 2 weeks, we loved everything about it, food was excellent, the staff were lovely, always cleaning and very friendly. The water park was fantastic with a snack bar that was superb. Couldn’t fault it at all, booked again for next year as soon as we came home.

Definitely recommend this hotel
Had a brilliant 2 weeks at this hotel, it’s very clean, food is lovely, entertainment very good, staff are pleasant and helpful. Can’t wait to go back .
