The Orange Tree (El Naranjo), Benalmadena

My favourite restaurant to visit while in the Benalmadena area is “El Naranjo” (The Orange Tree). It’s a British owned restaurant and is located near the windmill roundabout just up the hill on the left hand side of the road.

Our favourite dish to order here is the leg of Lamb for two people which includes a bottle of wine and ample amounts of potatoes and other vegetables. The lamb is out of this world, it falls away from the bone and is very lean with very little (if any) fat.

The restaurant is relatively small and would advise when booking your table ask to reserve the lamb dish as this is very popular. If you are calling in while passing and they have none of the lamb left don’t be in a hurry to leave as all their dishes are amazing, especially the rack of ribs.

The owners and table service staff are very welcoming and you will not be disappointed, this is certainly one of the finest restaurants for quality food in Benalmadena.
